Short Fuse lane
the street Idlebrook
finally made some no sense
to Kira Lufka, no more
she fled, her patience long drained
via the moving creek near Idyllwild
via the rain drains down Irongate
via acoustic finger picking up Ivyhill
to become a library events singer, tea drinker, in peace
the high powered hardcore ruined vegan parties....
the din of imps amps blew too many holes in her bedroom dream catchers...
but the last straw, before leaving via upstate commune...
the end of the rope via the dead end past Idolstone....
the Dracula blood and chocolate pudding
Lee flung, via spoon, onto her new white hippie dress
between 149/150 Short Fuse lane, alias Idlebrook
never came out
all of that and holes in the dream catchers...i'm laughing my way straight into the hippie hellfires.

Posted by: heroic imp at February 13, 2007 9:22 AMOh dear God--not a "library events singer!" You don't want that. Better buy a different kind of tea. "High powered ruined vegan parties"...Boo-yah! Also, "the din of imps amps." Sweet! (forgive my frat boy jargon...It would be cool if you had mp3s of some of this stuff because I want to hear you sing it!!
Posted by: Laura at February 13, 2007 2:11 PMand how about you singing it, last i remembered that voice of yours was a golden like one.
Posted by: heroic imp at February 13, 2007 8:44 PMHey Lee,
I guess you are too chicken to email me back. Did you think that I would never google my own name? Everyone does.
Just for your information...I am not a musician performing at libraries. I am not even a hippie.
Say hi to Joyce for me.
