To 10014

In the backyards of Peru I am sure they dance
spin to multi colored drink and drums play strong
It is full of 'dhat life, sandals and melons, till apocalypse, till curfew
sleepy girls and guides who show you the best smoke and intestinal views....
yet...I don't care
This city she drowns with her head between her legs heaving
closed off to live all night, shut down around dawns that used to sing, in the pre -bank light glow
"Paris is so fucking wonderful"
"Australia so intensely vast"
This NY, wraps around my waist and doesn't want to be dropped when legs give out
In the Fishing villages of Alaska,
the meat is raw baby and the air like a 100 proof shot
people sing of Moose oils and working class truck revelations
bad harmonica winters and peace with wired Falcons
I care, but i don't...
This city he falls down the stairs to our frozen convenience stares
"Norway is crucial and amazing"
"Barcelona is full of this energy you can't capture"
This Gotham was ours, it slipped through fishy false networks and away to Tapas tasking errors
break hearted ghost tenors, and false cigarette teeth fake and broken on pharmacy stoops
So Sleep no more, faggots and players, fight like a one armed whore
that can't trip away from home no more

Sounds like you need to shake the hand of a leper (or rather one , to be politically correct, one with "Hanson's Disease"), maybe then you'd care? Imminent death or prolonged suffering might move you. Meanwhile, I like the line about fighting on the streets of New York like a one-armed whore. Welcome to the pack. Watch out for that left hook...
